AI & Data in 2026: what changed
DGX B300 is shipping, and Rubin is announced for the second half of 2026. NVIDIA DGX systems and Cisco networks for AI: supplied and integrated.
What changed this year for an AI compute block on NVIDIA DGX B300, and what to put in your requirement.¹
Every date comes from the vendor's or publisher's own page. Third-party reports are marked.
1. DGX B300 is shipping
NVIDIA lists DGX B300 as shipping, at about 14 kW per system. It is the design's compute system.

2. Mission Control runs the cluster
NVIDIA's reference architecture now names Mission Control, which includes Base Command Manager and Run:ai, as the cluster manager. The design pins Mission Control 2.3.1, the UFM 3.5 appliance, and DGX OS 7.6.0 of September 14, 2026.

3. Rubin is announced
NVIDIA announced Rubin on January 5, 2026, with products from partners in the second half of 2026. The design records Rubin NVL8 as its growth path, liquid-cooled at up to 220 kW per rack.

4. Spectrum-6 is not used yet
Spectrum-6 was announced the same day, but no DGX B300 reference architecture names it. The storage fabric stays on Spectrum-4 SN5610.

What this means for a buyer
The design is built on what ships today, with a recorded path to Rubin, and uses no part that NVIDIA's own reference architectures do not yet name.
